God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
(Romans 5)

There is one God, the maker of all things, including you and me.  God is one (Deuteronomy 6, Mark 12).  He is eternally existing in three Persons:  Father, Son, and Spirit.

God made us not because he needed us but because of his great love for us.  Yet all humans have chosen to push away God, who is life itself, and to incur death.  This rebellion against God is called sin, and it is a wrong relationship with God.  We are responsible for this wrong relationship and without Christ, we remain under God's condemnation (Romans 1 & 8).

Jesus Christ lived the sinless life that we could never live, atoned for our sins through his death, and rose from the dead, proving he is fully God, fully man, and that his sacrifice overcame sin and death (1 John 2, Isaiah 53 & Romans 4).

God does not desire that anyone should perish, but calls all sinners to turn away from our rebellion and trust completely in Christ.  The moment we do this, he adopts us as his child.  In Christ, we are a new creation, carried by his Spirit from death into life everlasting!
